This guide details the entry requirements for students applying to the UniHaven Foundation Programme, UniHaven Diploma Programmes and the Postgraduate Diploma in Executive Management.
For undergraduate pathways, applicants must normally be 17 years old by the 31st December in the year that they start a programme. Applicants who are 16 may be accepted in exceptional circumstances.
Students should present a form of English language certification equivalent to IELTS. Note that normally where a test gives a grade for each skill we would expect each skill to be no more than half an IELTS point below the overall entry requirement. For example, for students entering onto a Foundation, where we ask for an overall IELTS 5.0, we would also expect all skill grades to be IELTS 4.5 or above. The minimum accepted English Language grades for our qualifications are displayed in Table 2. Note that for academic progression it is important for applicants to fulfil the Universities’ own English language requirements as these might differ.
Pre-Sessional programmes are available for students who do not yet have the required English language level. This programme lasts for 10 to 12 weeks depending on the students’ English Language level and is designed to help students transition onto the relevant programme.
UniHaven accepts a variety of academic qualifications for progression onto its pathway programmes. The academic entry requirements can be found in Table 3 and used to determine if qualifications match UniHaven requirements. Where a qualification does not appear in the table, or you are marginally below the stated requirements, please contact us with the details and we will review.
